Dusting off the Blog

Here I am again............just dusting off the blog and getting ready to start posting about the weather and the road - with pictures of course!  For now, please accept a couple of sunset pictures I snapped in November - with my solemn promise I will post more frequently.  And a big thank you to all who mentioned how much they miss the blog! (and you all know who you are)

The Moose

Another visit to the end of Torsey Shores Road by a moose.

It was such a lovely sunset this evening - I thought I would post a couple of pictures for those not able to enjoy it in person!

An early evening visitor.......

....down the end of Torsey Shores Road.   Anita was able to snap a picture of a moose in our backyard with her cell phone.  Not the best picture, but you can definitely tell it's a moose!

While she was chasing the moose, I snapped a few pics of the sunset from our deck

The weatherman promises some snowfall tomorrow - will update the blog after the storm. 

More Snow

So it snowed for days and days (OK, just two days, maybe three, but trust me it seems like many more) - here are a few pictures I snapped (it was still snowing when I took these pictures) on the way to my mailbox.

January Snowstorm Aftermath

Thought I'd try something a little different this time - I took pictures of the road after the snowstorm cleanup - and I'm presenting them as a "video" - this one is the view going in the road. If this works out OK, I will upload the view going out the road.
